Bought this double wall oven to replace a 29 year oven from GE and hope this one will last as long.
Installation was a breeze, fit right into the opening. First 2 weeks of use worked like a charm. I've read in prior reviews about louder noise from the convection function fan, but I cannot confirm. Yes, it blows air and has fan like noise, but since I am used to convection ovens form my time living in Europe and having had convection ovens already 30 years ago, this is quieter than what I know and less than the range hood or my ceiling fan. Overall, I am very happy so far.

Failed after a few weeks of use - something "came unplugged" inside the oven which caused it not to work. Then, about a year later, failed again with same error code. Was out of warranty and luckily, Bosch Factory service stepped up (great technician who was really helpful) and replaced a bunch of parts at no charge. We don't feel like we can rely on the oven and worry that it will not work when we need it. Also - takes a long time to preheat and features do not justify the price. Would not buy again.

Our 5 year old double oven had one of the glass doors shatter, for no reason at all, it never regulated the temp and was just awful so I wasn't to upset when we had to get a new oven. We did our research for the best reviews and Bosch kept coming up so we headed to Lowe's and bought one. So far so good! Absolutely no complaints, no burnt or undercooked food! We have highly recommended it to friends and family!

This is such a great oven, I have a big family and it has been super useful to have the double oven feature. It was especially handy during Thanksgiving when I was able to use the own oven for the turkey and the other for all the sides.

These ovens are by far the most consistent, reliable, easy to use units I've ever owned. My husband is a professional chef so these have been used in every way possible. Broiling, baking, roasting multiple large meals/dishes has been a pleasure over the holidays.

We bought the Bosch 800 Series double oven as a replacement for another double oven that finally died. The ordering went smooth and the installation as well. But thats where it stops. The materials this is made of are cheap and fragile. The stainless steel is so low budget that everything stains it. Still can't get the installer's hand prints off it. And anthing that comes in contact with the stainless surface ever since also appears to be permanent. As for operation, its LOUD. Louder than the microwave. So if your kitchen is part of a grand social area of the house, be prepared to have to turn up the volume on everything else while the oven is on. As for the controls, sub par. The programming is not easy to use and the buttons appear very cheap and crooked. The buttons don't look or feel like they will evan last 2 years.

all the functions of the oven work great, I love the probe, the lights, and the many pre-set functions. My only gripe with this oven is it is quite loud when on and even after being tunre off while it cools down. The fans are louder then I think an oven of this costs should be.

Our double ovens have been installed in our new house for just over a year and we are not pleased with the operation. The ovens consistently over or under cook. We trust Bosch products so much that have thought we were just being erratic ourselves. The holiday we baked our favorite pie and it was not anywhere close to done after the normal cook time. We upped the temperature by 25 degrees and cooked it another 15 minutes. The edge crust was lightly browned but the center looked uncooked but was slightly flakey so we all dug in. On other occasions thing we baked are radically overcooked and ruined. We have finally decided it's not us, it's the oven. Additionally it's has a very loud but efficient cooling fan.

So glad this double oven had a 1 year warranty. It took 10 months to correct an issue with heat discrepancy between the top and bottom of each oven. In our case, the bottom of foods (cookies, casseroles, biscuits, etc) were burnt by the time the tops were browned. Replacing the control board corrected a 50F discrepancy between the setpoint and actual temperature on the top oven but didn't address the top-to-bottom issue. By the 5th service visit, a software update finally did the trick for both ovens. Bosch Service extended the 1 year warranty for an additional year after the software update was installed.

We purchased these ovens in May 2025. They failed in November 2025- not quite six months. They don't hold temperatures at all. Sometimes the preheat takes over an hour and then the temperature is still 100 degrees too cold. I have had Bosch come to see the problem but when they came it seemed ok. Which is the problem - it's totally erratic. I am terrified that I won't have functioning ovens for Thanksgiving when I have 40 people waiting for turkey and pie.

My biggest regret with this appliance is the amount of time it takes to warm up and then the very LOUD fan noise. While oven is on, the fan is on and very loud. Really disappointed. I had read this in other reviews but only after my purchase .

Love, love the oven. It bakes beautifully. The temp. settings are spot on. My only complaint would be that the oven fan is a bit noisy, but I think I am sensitive to sound, because my friends don't notice it.

Overall very impressed with my new Bosch 800 Series double ovens. Disappointed that the main (bottom) heating element in the top oven blew out after less than three weeks, but Bosch customer service was quite responsive and after another 3 weeks waiting for service it should be fully repaired in another 10-14 days (waiting for part and another service call). I think the wait will be worth it. Disappointing start for sure, but hopefully this means that I've gotten the kinks worked out early and will have years of problem-free baking, broiling, roasting...

The Bosch 800 Series Double Wall Oven is a good looking, cleanly designed oven. Some reviewers noted that the touch screen needs a firmer push than many touch screens, which is true, but not a big deal as far as I am concerned. They have also mentioned that the clock is small and a little hard to see. In fact, it is smaller than some other ovens, but the appliance is meant to be an oven, not a clock. What is an issue for me is the loudness of the fan. I was surprised, when I first heard the oven running, at how noisy it is. Some guests agreed that it didn't sound like a normal oven, so I had a technician come to take a look at it. He assured me that all of ovens of this model are the same. If noise matters and you have the opportunity to test an oven before purchasing, you may want to do so.

Unfortunately Bosche did not support us in our claims of bad product. We had concerns right out of the box when the oven would not heat to temperature. Our concerns were dismissed, telling us it takes time to heat. Like more than 30 minutes? Who has time for that? I explained we had to manipulate the oven's temperature and put it on "Broil" to get the temperature to increase to make a pizza, only for it to quickly drop well below desired temp. At the time, I was really only using it to reheat food, make an occasional pizza, so I did not realize how much bigger this problem really was. The first time I had the opportunity to put the oven to a true test is when we hosted our family for a holiday. We bake a turkey, sides, and pumpkin pies - it was a huge fail. The oven would not keep temperature, turkey and pies were raw. The longer I ran the oven, the more it seems stressed, loud noises. Neither the top or bottom operated at temperature, could not seem to reach 200F.
A service call attempted to fix it by recalibrating it, and was told it should be good to go. Fast forward to the next holiday when it was my turn to host. Prime rib, pies, ruined bc the oven still would not remain at set temp. Again, I'm not a frequent meat roaster or baker, only on the holidays. So this oven temp problem was not immediately on our radar. These two occurances took place over a couple of years.
Another service call was made. After recalibrating, replacing the sensor, the circuit board, and other troubleshooting procedures guided by Bosche over the phone, they were confident it was resolved. Unfortunately not
We frustrated as we paid for a premium product. They dismissed my initial concerns. They were sure they fixed when they did not. By the time we reached out to share we feel we got a lemon…too late. Sorry, your warranty expired, you should have called sooner, yet our problem was never resolved in the initial service calls. We hoped they would at least provide us with a credit towards a new product as we wanted to give them another chance, but they would not. I was sad to read the other reviews with the same issues. It seems Bosche really needs to work this out.
Bottom line…if you pay 5K for a premium top of the line product, you should get nothing less. Unfortunately we invested in this expensive double oven to accommodate holiday baking, and yet has never been used as I had hoped. The flawed temperature fluctuations make this product a big problem for the home cook and entertainer, and has failed so bad it won't even reheat our pizzas anymore.

The oven is wonderful. It heats perfectly, and the control panel is very easy to use. My only complaint is that for some reason the clock won't keep the proper time. It seems to work fine for a few days after I reset it,... and then it begins to slow down until it's not at the proper time any longer. Everything else about the oven is just amazing! I highly recommend it.

SELF CLEAN FEATURE SHATTERED INNER DOOR GLAS

We bought the house with this appliance in- its only 5yrs old. I had never ran the "SELF CLEAN" feature, so I attempted to run a 1/2 cycle- shorter than a full. 20 mins into the cycle, the inner glass of the upper door completely shattered. Glass everywhere. Bosch won't warranty any of it- despite it being a manufacturer issue from it's own feature- they only suggested a full replacement of the dorr for $900! After speaking to other appliance servicers, we learned that the inner glass itself can just be replaced for much less that $900, and is a genuine Bosch Part.

The Bosch 800 double wall oven replaces an 18 year old Electrolux and fit perfectly in the opening. I haven't tried every mode but I really like the quick pre-heat, the glide door closing and the interior lighting. I was a bit apprehensive about the racks since they are basically old-school pull out and push in style and only lower oven has a gliding in-out rack but, hey, it has not been a problem at all. These things cost a lot but, so far, I think I'm getting my money's worth.

The Bosch double oven has been great. There are a few things that I would change.
1. have a way to turn on light for each oven. When I press the light button both oven lights turn on. Also would help for the light to be brighter. It is hard to see the item to see how it is doing without opening the door.
2. the vents needs to be on the side or some other place so it is not blowing right in your face when you try to look in the oven with out opening the door.
3. the display needs to be larger to see easily.

I want to love this oven but the temperature rarely stays where it's supposed to be. Sometimes it is reading 15° high and sometimes 5° under; this makes it hard for baking!

After 20 years it was time to replace our electric double wall ovens. I researched choices in Consumer Reports and decided to purchase Bosch ovens. I'm so happy with my choice. I really do like my new ovens, however, there are some things about them that I don't like. The venting above each oven blows continuously while the oven is on and it blows right on me and my stove top affecting the flame. Why didn't they angle the vents up a little to avoid this problem. The other issue I have is the font size of the clock display is a lot smaller than my old ovens. Other than these two issues, they bake nicely.
