ovens heat quickly and it is nice having two to bake or roast two different temperatures at a time. stove tope is easier to clean than our old one. Remote connectivity makes it easy to preheat the oven just before we get home to bake something.

Do not buy, terrible stove and customer service

We have had our new oven since December, it has not worked properly from the day we received it. The temperature is always off by 50 degrees and the fan for convection and air fry did not work at first. After 6 service attempts, changing the motherboard twice and replacing the fan, we finally have a fan that functions however the temperature is still off by 25-50 degrees and I have to rely on a thermometer in our oven and adjust the digital temperature to have it on the temp needed. I have been in contact with GE this whole time and after the last service call I asked to just take the stove back, refund me and I will get something else. They refused but said they will put in a new stove but the exact same one. Two weeks after I agreed to this they emailed me to let me know they can not find an installer in my area to replace the stove so I can find one myself and they will reimburse me the money for having someone else install......I am so disappointed, this has been the absolute worst customer service and I wish I did not pick this stove or this brand. Now I have to do more work and find someone near me willing to install, pay them and then wait for reimbursement. Take this stove out of my house and refund my money, I am so done dealing with them!

Love the double ovens!

We love our new GE gas range and the 2 separate ovens are a huge bonus for cooking items at different temperatures. We also really enjoy the reversible flat cooking surface in the center of the range. The only con is that we wish the heat under that surface was more distributed from end to end because we find ourselves unable to use the full cooking surface because the heating element is only in the middle.

This range seems like it should be amazing, but in fact, it™€™s burning all of our food that is at the back of the oven and under cooking everything closer to the door. When we had a tech come look at it, he suggested flipping stuff mid-cooking cycle. We™€™ve tried that but it still isn™€™t quite right. Since we contacted GE two weeks after install and not within the first week, they have been ™€œreviewing™€ our case for 3 months, but it has amounted to nothing. If you buy this, check it immediately to make sure it isn™€™t burning your food at the back and tell GE within the first few days. I wouldn™€™t expect great things!

Repair service is the worse

After buying the complete GE line for new house after week we finally decided to use air fryer and of course it didn™€™t work just the glow plug came on and that was it and after getting the run around from both GE and third party repair we are three weeks into this mess now one of the top burners buck drafted and burnt up the knob The third party service has said the have stopped by and no one was home for the second time and they never call a head of time like they are supposed to,but yet we was all day but to top it off was on the phone with GE and she called them and he stated they wold be here at 630pm and I was still on the phone with them when 630 pm came and went and still a no show this A and B service flat out lies the tech IGNACIO S. is his name so be wear in North Carolina

Horrible product - I have had the oven less than two years and the control panel film is coming off on the buttons that we use the most. Customer relations told me there is nothing they can do since cosmetic issues are only covered up to one year. Very disappointed.

The range is really nice. I love the double ovens, the air fryer and convection! The gas stove allows me to precisely cook, simmer... Having 2 ovens is so convenient and increases the capacity allowing me to cook multiple courses so much easier. Having the abilty to cook in the convection, regular oven and air fryer saves me time- less time in the kitchen!

Smells like gas whenever we use the lower oven.

Whenever we use the lower oven, the smell of gas is very strong throughout the preheat. We have had an appliance repairman out twice, and he has been unable to fix the smell. He also spoke to GE, and apparently this is fine/normal? However, I often open the windows when I have to use the lower oven. Otherwise, it has been a really good oven, aside from the worrying odor.

A great range and double oven. Years ago I purchased a free standing larger GE Profile double oven™€¦ as I™€™m scaling back this range feels similar to that larger product and meets my expectations. The griddle is great, and I love the flexibility of using the middle burners for either a griddle or 2 extra burners. The air fry feature works very well using my existing sheet pans, no extra basket needed.

Love this range. The grates are very heavy and the griddle is super heavy. The griddle seems very rough, but better after using it a few times. Kind of a pain to clean the top when the griddle is on, as then you have to remove all the grates, and its heavy.

Improvements compared to 15-yr oldProfile range.

This unit replaced an 15-year old Profile range. The configuration of the new range is improved. First, the finish on the top where the burners are is much better, and the new high output burner is also improved. I do wish it was on the right instead of the left, since that is the configuration of the previous unit. The middle grid is now rectangular instead of the weird oval shape, which is better for cooking using the griddle. This range has the double oven configuration, and the no preheat airfry feature is terrific. We picked up special pans to assist with air frying, and perhaps GE should offer some! The WiFi feature is nice, however, not truly essential. The best part of it was ease of registration.

Double Oven in Small Space

I love the versatility of this gas range. The burners have different BTU levels, allowing you to match the burner to the need. I found out quickly that the highest BTU burner should be reserved for boiling water, not regular cooking. I also love the double ovens which allow me to cook items at different temperatures at the same time. I also like the warming feature in the upper oven.

A couple of weeks ago my daughter-in-law, who is an Engineer for GE was visiting and asked if we had gotten our new GE gas stove to do the built in "Air Fry" function. I said that I didn't even know it did that. She tried it out and said it was not working like it should and maybe it needed an "update" from my GE app on my phone. I did not have the app and so she proceeded to install it and she worked for2 hours trying to get it to connect from the 1 year old phone to the recently new Gas GE stove. It would not connect. A GE Engineer could not get the thing to connect. Yes, she is a good engineer and worked at Ford and helped develop the "follow" type cruise control for them. After two hours she gave up on this GE app. Recently my son cooked me some air fried potatoes and I thought I would try to get the function working right on my stove. Today, after 3 hours of struggling with the not so smart app, it now connects to my phone. I could not duplicate exactly whatever I did to take me here if my life depended on it but it might have had something to do with disconnecting my phone from my 2.4ghz network and then connecting to the GE network that had no internet access and then spending a lot of time trying to figure out how to give it internet access and I never could. But it DOESN'T NEED IT. Then I was instructed to "Enter the last 4 characters of the 'Network and Password' found on connected label". Thanks to the DIL knowing these metal information strips were swinging loose on the back of the stove, I knew where to find that info. If she had not done that, I would still be looking for the "info" on a door or everywhere BUT there. Now, the problem was that there was no entry dialog for the "last 4 characters of the Network".  There was a "Entry" labeled "Password" and blanks to fill in.  I figured I would try typing the "last 4 characters of the Network" into those blanks since it was mentioned "before" the password but it would not take certain characters.  So then I figured I would type the PW in and it took those characters and never asked for the "last 4 characters of the Network".  Apparently not needed. So, once I was into the stove with my PW, I was then asked to log into my 2.4ghz wifi.  After that, everything just kind of happened. I have no wifi icon on the stove blinking or not blinking like I had before but now I am connected by wifi because I can see it in the app but NOT on the stove. I did not see anything update but I can now have a shortcut in the app that will turn on my "air fryer" that the DIL says doesn't work even when it is "on" and I can do it from my couch in the living room. There is nothing in the oven, but I can turn it on or off.   To add insult to injury, there was a section for me to leave a 1 star review and 500 characters pushed ONE BY ONE on my phone. I used up all of my characters in a really not nasty "review" but a warning for customers that have not been building multiple computers and troubleshooting networks since 1997 to not expect to figure this out if it did not connect automatically like my Samsung Refrigerator keeps begging me to do.  I filled the dialog up with 500 characters while wanting to spend even more of my precious life "reviewing" something that doesn't work and then was ready to "post" it but there was no way to get out of the dialog to find a "send" button if there even was one. I don't think they really want reviews on this feature. They want the "feature" so they can advertise it. Doesn't matter if anyone can find it or get it to work. I don't think anyone will be fired or at least demoted for this disaster but GE should hire someone from Samsung to fix their "app" because they seem to know what they are doing while GE does not even know how to NAME their App so that people can even find it after it is installed when they need it, if they ever do. I have hundreds of Apps on my phone. Apps should be NAMED for what they are and not a fancy name for what you would like them to be.  Now I was just going to attach some screenshots to this review but, there is no way to do it. I dragged and dropped onto the #2 Add Images (Optional) but that just caused the whole "review" page to disappear. Fortunately I am getting smarter and type my info in a text editor and not the review so I did not lose everything. So, you get no images from me.

Poor quality control --repeated defects

The first range arrived with an upper oven door that did not fully close. Each side had about a 1/4-inch gap at the top. I told the store that I wanted to return it for a replacement because of this defect. However, the replacement range arrived and had an even larger gap. I have not tried to use the upper over because of the gap. I plan to talk with the store again about replacement with a range by another maker. This experience is time-consuming (about 3 months from purchase to arrival of the second range with the same defect) and frustrating. The gas burners work properly.

Only downside - it took forever to arrive. Backordered with multiple delays. Hopefully if maintenance is ever required, it is not the same situation. The look of the oven is great! Even cooking in both top and bottom so far. The burners are great and easy to clean, and don't scratch the surface of the range. Would recommend!

Serial Number

Why is it so hard to find the serial number on my gas range? I tried the online chat which referred me to a website that was not helpful. Then I called the GE help line and found a nice lady who helped me find it. But she could not tell me right away, because she had no definite information on my specific range. She had only suggestions. The range itself in beautiful. After the serial number search, I hope I don't have any problems with it.
