I have only had the range for a couple of weeks, but so far I am very happy with it. The burners heat up very quickly and the oven is very easy to use and program. I have not tried the cleaning part since I have not gotten it dirty yet but I will try it in the future.

My new stove works great! My favorite feature is and always has been the glass top. The control knobs are placed nicely and easy to use and see. It has a large oven that holds a lot for baking. It seems energy efficient. Cleaning has been easy and the burners just wipe clean. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

It's an excellent range for the price - I've definitely enjoyed how it heats up and how quickly the burners heat up. The oven absolutely fits my needs and the controls are easy enough to understand. It also uses less energy than my old unit and I'm saving a bit of money. Has an automatic cleaning option, too. Glass top is great for cleaning-although it's a learning curve for what you should use to clean the top for me, since it's my first glass-top oven. Overall, I give it five stars.

This product does not work properly and it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep the cooktop clean. The burners are slow to heat up. Once heated, the temperature does not remain constant. It continues to heat up and is slow to respond when trying to lower the temp. In addition, the cooktop is a nightmare. A single drop of clean water creates a stain in addition to all the spillovers of soups, gravies, etc. And the cleaning products to remove these daily stains are too costly. I'm very unhappy and would not recommend this product to anyone.

This GE Model is replacing our GE Spectra model that I used for over 23 years and loved . My only complaints so far with this one is the arrangement of the burners and the bottom drawer. I wish the top left burner was the larger one instead of the smaller one. Having both larger burners in front is not the best for how I cook. There is a safety issue with that. Also the bottom drawer capacity is much smaller than my old model, and I had to find other storage space for the items I used to store there. Otherwise I think it will serve our needs, and I look forward to many years of cooking and baking with it.

There is a white line under the burners that you can™™t wash off. It appears to be under the glass. It developed after the first time we cooked on them. Still there. The oven seal is rubber! So there was a horrible, caustic, eye burning fig that enveloped our entire little house when we first used the oven! That is unacceptable! It™™s midwinter. We had to open the house for a long time to get rid of the poisonous fumes! The glass top is already deeply scratched. I don™™t see how. As we only use our regular pots on it. Nothing fell on it. I can only think it is from the extreme heat of the rapid boil feature. Which I used to boil pasta, as was its suggested use! I am very disappointed.

I™™ve been using my GE electric range for a little while now, and overall I™™m really happy with it. The cooktop heats up quickly and evenly, which has made everyday cooking a lot smoother. I especially appreciate the clearly marked controls simple, intuitive, and easy to adjust even when I™™ve got a few things going at once. The oven has been just as reliable. It preheats faster than my old range, and everything I™™ve baked so far has come out evenly cooked. I also love how easy the interior is to clean; the finish really does help keep things from sticking. If I had to nitpick, I™™d say the stovetop surface shows smudges a little easily, but a quick wipe usually takes care of it. All in all, it™™s a solid, dependable appliance that™™s made cooking at home more enjoyable. I™™m glad I went with GE, and I™™d definitely recommend this range to anyone looking for a straightforward, high-quality option.

I love that this stove is basic with easy to use buttons and knobs. The cook top has 4 burners with 1 having a dual heating element allowing for smaller or larger pots. I love the large oven capacity with many different rack heights allowing you to cook a turkey or make cookies. First time used stove, preheated 400 degrees, thought all was well, then began to bake. Light inside stove turned on and off, sometimes in sync with the bottom element. The light would also turn on if I touched the door handle ( I did not move the door). Didn't know if these were new features as no paper manual included and online manual had very minimal info... only couple lines about light button feature, which is self explanatory, if you've ever used an oven. When done baking, we flipped the breaker and waited until next morning then tried the oven again. Same thing...light in oven off and on, light in oven turned on if I touched the door handle on side where light switch is located...the left side. Didn't use the oven for a day. This morning I opened and closed the door, pushed the light switch in a few times and checked the door seal (this is just a single piece of rubber and its not fastened tight). Turned the stove onto 350, got my camera out to record the light show and the light did not turn on and off, it did not turn on and off when I touch the door handle. When it was done baking, I set the temperature to 450 and waited once again. The light did not turn off and on. When I touch the door handle the light did not turn off and on. I used the timer button on 11/07/25 and turned the stove off manually. On 11/08/25 I used the Cook Time button which is suppose to turn the stove off automatically when time is up...it did not, I had to hit cancel. Today, 11/10/25 I used the cook time button and I think it turned off automatically, because the light above the button was not lit up at the end of the bake time, but the light below was ( I think for the timer to be turned off since its set to continuous). The door seal is rubber only???(Is this fire proof??, looks cheap, didn't think to check out the door seal in the store on display, because last stove we had by whirlpool was super), it isn't attached securely, it can easily be pulled away and create gaps. The seal looks dirty ...dusty? We don't know if the control board was having one bad day or if this will be the beginning of on and off bad days. We don't know if the light on and off experience was a control board issue, door seal issue or what. Not peace of mind. Hope it don't turn itself on like our last stove did at the end.

I am disappointed in this product. I purchased the stove from a well known home store chain and we discussed products and manufacturers, as a general note, chosing GE above others, ie. LG, Samsung, Whirpool, Frigidaire, etc. After issues with delivery, the disappointment in the product itself is an eye opener!!! I had previously purchased a GE dryer approximately less than 2 years ago, and speaking with my brother, we cannot get over the "cheapness" in the way the products are made anymore, the thinness of the shell/body of the dryer, stove, how light they are with plastic buttons, facings. Manufacturers should be embarrassed at what they are producing, selling to the consumer who is at the mercy of what is available for purchase! NOTHING IS QUALITY ANY LONGER, no pride in the work that they do, very sad. Best was it came with three different pamphlets as "warnings" or "what Not to Do," but nothing as to How to Operate, including the steam cleaning option or how to pre-heat (it's different); and yes, I'm sure all that can be googled, u-tubed or something, but I should not have to! I paid GE for the stove and the how to operate their product!

Some annoying issues

I wanted to mention a few annoyances I have had with this range. The ultra sensitive burners cycle off when the bottom of the pan gets hot. This leads to what I affectionately refer to as ™ bottom boiling™. This is something I have not seen with other glass tops before. It is when the bottom layer of the food is boiling underneath a cold layer on top. The burner is so senitive it can literally keep this going for a half hour. I find it frustrating that I have to stay and stir food to get it hot throughout. I find the same scenario in the oven. It cycles on and off for a LONG time. With lengthy and noisy preheat it takes almost a half hour just to make toast and longer for any real food items. When the oven gets hot, it gets really hot really fast, thus burning breads, hash browns etc. I™™m not used to this ™ improved accuracy.™ I like to throw my food in the oven and walk away, but now I have to hover, if I want it to turn out right. It does cook overall accurately. I have to adjust cooking temps down about 5F to get my recipes to turn out right. My last annoyance, and this is specific to me personally, is that there is no metal containment between the oven™™s inner insulation and the siding. This will not likely effect you, unless you have small inquisitive pets. Yes I said small pets. My curious ferrets found this wide open gap into the oven and will not stop trying to crawl INTO my oven! Thank God I heard them scratching before they did! I had to place cabinet trim across the front lower gap to keep them from getting under and inside. If you have small pets or for that matter, an issue with rodents, they will have zero problems finding their way into the insulation. Overall I like the range, but I am SO frustrated with these design flaws.

Such a disappointment - stuck with a terrible oven design! Why is there a huge 2 inch gap behind the racks!?! None of my baking trays fit side by side & had to use one of my old racks in a brand new $700 oven! Even that doesn™™t fix the issue because when the oven is hot it doesn™™t slide out properly! I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in this product™¦ I only got a GE because my previous oven was great and only had to be replaced because the stovetop element quit followed by the oven no longer heating( bake & broil both quit ). We had the oven for 10 years so we had no problem with another similar item. This oven is a huge disappointment.

Range is very good. I always like the basic range. Overall the range works well. I am disappointed with the the black glass top. It shows marks and scratches easily. My previous glass top was a speckled gray and didn't show all of that. Also the cancel button is very hard to press. May be calling customer service to get that checked. The burners heat up well and the oven works great.
