The simplicity and reliability as well as adaptability in that it was easy to move the handles to the other side of the refrigerator so it opened correctly to the room. Plenty of room with the shelving. Keeps everything nice and cold. Lowered my utility bill. The ice maker is a cherry on top.

Temperature and exterior

It is 50/50 on this frig. Capacity, shelving are good but but the temperature is just borderline 40 degrees minimum. No lower then that with the dial set at lowest temperature setting. Has even been 45 degrees in frig on a warm day with RV inside temp. 77 degrees. Frig door closed over 12 hours and still have temperature problems. Exterior door has rust on the door. One month out RV so going in for warranty service next week. Frig is on the list too.

The applianced is described as having a fingerprint resistant stainless finish, it is anything but and VERY hard to keep clean. Additionally, when the door closes, it makes a loud clanking sound.

Does not keep proper temperature

I am so glad that I bought thermometers . I am using two different thermometers and the temperature in this refrigerator is consistently warm. It has never maintained the proper temperature when set on 3. It was delivered four months ago, and I already had a service visit for this issue. It is currently on the coldest setting, and the temperature is between 40 and 45 degrees. I came to the site to schedule another service , but I also feel compelled to warn future purchasers. Not sure if mine is just a lemon, but I would not recommend this model as it does not maintain your food at safe temperatures .

Extremely Loud! While this refrigerator looks great, fits our space perfectly and holds lots of food, the fan is extremely loud! I also ordered the recommended hose to attach ice maker but delivery people said it is not compatible with our water line? So we were left with no ice maker and my husband is trying to find something that is compatible at home depot, with not much success. I guess we may have to call a repair person for the loud fan and to install an icemaker. Not what I expected from a brand new refrigerator.

My new refrigerator is perfect, except for one thing: There is no light in the freezer compartment. I do miss that feature, which was present on my old fridge. Seemingly well constructed. Improved design over older models. Optional ice maker, increased storage capacity over older models with identical external dimensions. Improved storage in door shelves. Maintains cold temperatures. Could be, yet, improved by having a narrower range of temperatures. For example, a thermometer shows a ten degree variation from 31 to 41 degrees, whereas a range from 35 to 39 would be better, as far as food storage and longevity are concerned.

Very good performance, but wish that the temperature range, given a specific temperature setting was narrower. For example, there™€™s a 10 degree variation, as measured by a thermometer. Still, an improved design compared with older GE models. Some improvements include ice maker option, tool-less temp control, and greater storage capacity for the same external dimensions as older models. This refrigerator seems well-insulated and maintains stable, cold temperatures.

Freezer food develops frost so I don™€™t expect this appliance to last long. Terrible layout in refrigerator area. It would be great if I were only 4™€™9™€ tall. You have to bend way low and walk forward then back out of fridge so as not to hit your head on freezer door. This fridge came with a new park model. I wasn™€™t allowed to pick my own.

It was hard to find a smaller refrigerator nowadays that would fit into the kitchen of the older house - and this GE refrigerator worked perfectly! Spacious inside and with a built-in icemaker, this is exactly what we were looking for. Was delivered on-time. Please be aware that some work required upon delivery: attaching the door handle (easy!) and removing the protective film from stainless steel surfaces (that part was not so easy...)

Space this had to fit into limited choices of configuration/options So far so good Installer claimed water supply for ice maker was not adequate and charged extra on the spot cash or check to install new water supply.
