Jim and Suzan Haynes purchased My Favorite Furnishings in order to keep a home furnishing store open in their hometown of Larned, KS. They have grown the selection by leaps and bounds; filling seven showrooms full with quality, fair-priced Furniture, Appliances, Mattresses, and Flooring. The design team at My Favorite Furnishings has many years of combined experience in design and customer service and are experts in helping the customer turn their house into a beautiful home. We are fully equipped to serve our customer in every furnishing, appliance, and flooring need.
Some of the name brands that we carry are Ashley Furniture, Best Home Furnishings, GE Appliances, La-Z-Boy, LaCrosse Furniture, Restonic Mattresses, and Speed Queen washers and dryers. It is important to us to offer products from dependable companies, and many of them produce goods that are made in the USA.
We also offer one-of-a-kind accessories – Turkish Lamps and Polish Pottery. When visiting overseas, the owners keep an eye out for unique items to bring into the store and offer to the public. During their travels, they found a quaint little shop that sold glass bead and mosaic lamps. Each one is hand made and truly a work of art – they add an extra beautiful glow to any area in a room. Suzan also fell in love with the hand painted/glazed Polish pottery. Each piece is hand-painted and there are many patterns and styles to choose from. Whether you pick a favorite pattern to collect or combine multiple patterns, there is no wrong way to enjoy Polish Pottery.
